LA: hot spots

L.A has got to be the city with the coolest hide-outs. What's amazing about this city is that it never ceases to be on the cutting edge with new establishments to feed the appetites of its cool, hip, bohemian L.A city slickers.

I recently went to this restaurant Comme Ca on 8479 Melrose Ave. One block west of La Cienaga Blvd. (323) 782 1104 and i was instantly in love with this chic new eaterie. Not only was the seafood bouillabaisse amazing, the foie gras terrine was to-die-for and absolutely left me mouth watering for more. The waiters were stunning, both guys and girls and the crowd was definitely a sophisticated, hip bunch.

Don’t miss the stripe awnings out front!

As for shopping, the new comme des garcons guerilla store is worth checking out! It has a cool interior and is quietly hidden behind a sneaker store on 4th between main and spring. The store I really fell in love with is the Steven Alan Annex, newly opened on Abbot Kinney Blvd. The street itself has become a hub of cool, quaint stores that stock anything from Rick Owens and Rag & Bone to organic yoga lounge wear. The newly opened Annex stocks labels such as Lover, Rag & Bone, Steven Alan, Premium vintage jewelry pieces hand selected by Steven Alan and many other understatedly cool brands for men and women!

Ask for Jake/ Scott. Two stylish dudes that are so helpful and would be spot-on if any style advice is needed.
